Coaching is much more than a fad or a trend. It is one of the most effective means of bringing transformation and long-term excellence to your life. Coaching is a partnership that empowers you to first design and then generate specific results in your life, both personally and professionally.
An effective coaching partnership produces fulfillment as well as sustainable excellent performance. Your coach supports you in learning to be self-generating and self-correcting.
Some of our clients work with us because they want to improve their relationships, their quality of life, or their community. Others have specific goals that they want to achieve, like running a marathon or writing a book. Still others want to be more effective in their career and get the promotions that go along with that success.
It is your coach's job to assist you in connecting your thinking, beliefs and practices with the associated results. Your coach illuminates your blind spots, helps you see new possibilities and assists you in integrating new thoughts, language, practices and systems that will net your intended results.

Ontological coaching is about mastering universally effective techniques for changing limiting beliefs and thereby replacing unwanted behaviors and patterns with more desirable ones.
It differs greatly from the more common approach, performance coaching (see below), in that it is designed to first alter deeply held beliefs and as a result, change behavior.
On the other hand, Performance Coaching (aka feedback coaching), deals primarily with goals and actions. It is about developing performance-enhancing behaviors and minimizing or removing behaviors that create obstacles or blockages to optimum performance. Performance coaching does not always address the beliefs that drive behaviors, a distinction that can make all the difference in successful coaching.
Of course we can and do address performance issues, but with our ontological coaching model, we help you create the mindset that will allow you to progress on your own, even when the coaching relationship ends!
At YESS! we use the ontological model. Of course, we work with you on your performance goals, but we believe our methods will have you reach your goals with greater ease and sustainability.
