Learning to hit a pause button in my mind before my mouth automatically takes off is a practice I’m working on. I need to be better.
This year has offered abundant opportunities for me to practice and to misfire.
Becoming aware is a gift, and learning during an election year, with a pandemic and racial inequity has afforded me many ways to challenge my abilities in person and on social media.
