Self-care is never a selfish act – it is simply good stewardship of the only gift I have, the gift I was put on earth to offer others.” Parker Palmer

As I look back on the most challenging years of my life, one of the greatest outcomes for improving the quality of my life was from a promise I made to myself. That promise was to take the next 8 years to get in the best shape of my life mentally, physically, spiritually, emotionally, financially and intentionally. I also, for the first time in my life made the timeline long enough that the consistent, incremental changes I made would have significance and sustainability over time; it worked. And I arrived at the starting line for the rest of my life.

Small changes, consistently applied are game changers. Putting yourself and what you need to be the best version of yourself first is paramount. This is lifetime homework. You’re never done, you’re never “there.” You only have one shot to get it right. Make it count and maximize YOU.
