We worked on removing friction while thinking about our thinking.
Early in the day, Dan shared that friction is different than an obstacle. Friction is emotional and internal. Obstacles are outside of you. What a powerful distinction.
As I pondered this, it became clear that all great products and services offer solutions to remove friction.
When we paused to work through our biggest friction at this time, the lightbulb went off for me.
The friction is the key to the doorway called freedom. Dan illuminated that eliminating friction results in freedom.
What a mind bender.
Instead of greeting friction with contempt, frustration, and irritation, we should be grateful. Without it, there is no growth or progress.
It’s time to embrace friction with grace.
