I’m not tired, I’m fatigued.

I’m getting sleep, but I’m not rested. The fatigue is from the mental challenge. The perpetual thinking I must do right now. It’s exhausting at times. I want a break and there seems to be no time for a break when balls are dropping and it’s messy.

Ever felt this way knowing you need to rest and take care of yourself? Me too.

I could stop, accept things as they are and settle, but I won’t. I’ll gear myself up with a few inspirational quotes and go work out for 10 minutes. I’ll meditate and I’ll surrender for a bit.

“No one ever works out and regrets it. You never go for a run and then when you’re finished wish you would have just stayed home. You never climb a mountain, get to the top and say, ‘I should have just been content to stay where I was.’”

“It’s a terrible thing in life, I think, to wait until you’re ready. I have this feeling now that actually no one is ever ready to do anything. There is almost no such thing as ready. There is only now. And you may as well do it now. Generally speaking, now is as good a time as any.” Hugh Laurie

I need to work out now. Tomorrow I’ll begin my day with it. Waiting doesn’t work for me.
